Encore Ballroom Couture has been a longtime client of mine. The site was designed by someone else and I was hired to code everything. Over a 10 year period the site hasn’t really changed much except for behind the scenes.
We added a Dances With The Stars section a few years back. EBC has a deal in place to sell all the dresses from the show. I believe you can even rent them. Pretty cool.
This mother and daughter operation includes me as one of their own. I’m honored to have worked for them for over 10 years.
Built in WordPress. I used a ton of custom coding for their rental portion and sale portion. The site was a mess when I took over. I’ve cut them down from 50 plugins to only 10 or so now.
Furthermore, the original developer used a lot of plugins. I believe at one point they were at 51 or something. The website uses Gravity Forms, ACF for a lot of their features I built a custom drag and drop using jQuery so they could sort their dresses in their categories in the backend. Which is very important to them.
