Hush + Dotti was and still is a family affair. I built this site for my wife’s business. It was created in WordPress and still remains on the platform to this day. I had contemplated moving it over to Shopify but over there we’d be limited to what we could do. With WooCommerce and WordPress I’m able to do 99% of whatever I want to do.

The theme has changed over the years several times. From a custom theme to a ThemeForest.net template and back to a custom theme and back to ThemeForest template.

After a few years I met up with the folks at GetBowTied and built a great relationship with Adrian over there. He’s one of their main developers and together I tweaked this theme into a beast. For all variable products I built a custom swatch slider that only shows in mobile. The user is able to slide the swatches to see as many as possible.

Furthermore, I’ve tweaked the tabs for the review form and a few other elements. I also did away with the standard header and added my own. I’ve customized the archive template and added my own code to create a custom header and title box. Very important in this day and age of SEO.
