Love Luxe Life is yet another collaboration between Jane and I. The site is a sorta of PR firm for all that goes on in the Orange County and Los Angeles areas of California. This site is primarily a gallery site. The website is built in WordPress. Custom theme development with a Rakuten market API embedded and lots of customization in the backend. I built LLL their own Theme Options panel for updating specific sections based on Options Tree framework.
There weren’t any page builders to offer to clients back then. So to keep a lot of the responsive design in place we had to use a theme options panel. Which I saw as the easiest way to allow clients to edit their own sites rather than calling us to do it every single day.
I’m not sure if LLL is still doing anything with the site anymore. I haven’t seen it updated in years. I really loved working the isotope masonry effects into the homepage. That effect was once a very popular deal. I’m starting to see less and less of it now. I’m still a fan of it however. The files are all called for. No plugin was being used at all. For the most part everything is custom built inside the theme.
